Welcome to
The Recreate & Restore Hiking Retreat

September 19th - 21st
White Mountain National Forest, Martin's Location, New Hampshire

mount madison.jpg

Let yourself be held by the quiet rhythms of the forest — where movement is natural, breath is deep, and the mind can finally soften.

We ask so much of ourselves — mind, body, and soul — every single day.

This retreat offers you a chance to reset and restore, far from the noise and closer to what truly matters.

You’ll spend two nights sleeping beneath the stars, hiking through rich landscapes, preparing nourishing meals by hand, and grounding yourself through gentle movement and mindfulness.

This experience is for those seeking something more meaningful — a return to simplicity, presence, and connection. With a small group of kindred spirits, we’ll share space, stories, and stillness.

Come back to yourself. Let nature do what it does best — heal, balance, and inspire.

Katie Jones
Senior Guide,
Founder of  The Green Spiral

For more than a decade, I've worked in various outdoor fields and education.

Leading therapeutic and recreational hikes, whitewater adventures on various rivers and teaching environmental awareness in diverse educational programs has allowed me to share my passion for recreation & wellness with many.

After countless nights under the stars and guiding hundreds of individuals like yourself, I know that the energy you bring to an adventure is what matters most.

My wish is to share this peace I have found in nature, leading by example and continuing to ask myself, "How can I make myself and this world a better place?"

At my retreats you'll leave with a deeper meaning of self, your connection with the natural world and your place in it.

Testimonials

“Had a terrific time! Having some structure was a nice thing, plenty of camp time and camaraderie added to the weekend. The meals were fantastic. We ate well and I’m pretty sure the group enjoyed the participation of prepping and cooking as a team, I know I did. Guided focused exercises where nice; sometimes we forget to think about things and let them go (again if need be) or to get a deeper insight into where we are emotionally already. The retreat left me feeling well, focused and refreshed, ready for another week at work and ready to spring forward. I’m looking forward to another adventure.”
